Lessons
To get started email me at JackFry@BeetlePercussion.com
The focus of the first lesson is to get a solid grasp of who the student is, their current skill level with their instrument, and to understand their goals and aspirations for their future in the marching arts. Before the first lesson is over we will both have a better understanding of how to move forward and get closer to meeting goals.
If a student decides to continue taking lessons, we will set up a schedule and the student will be given weekly assignments to complete before their next lesson. Assignments vary from simple technique adjustments to musical excerpts meant to develop rudimental vocabulary.
Payments for lessons can be made via PayPal to jacksfry@gmail.com. Students who want weekly lessons can pay in bulk for one month of lessons and save $20! (4 lessons for $100) If PayPal is inaccessible to the student, we can work something out!
Nothing makes me happier than helping people reach their goals in the marching arts.
When I was in high school I wanted nothing more than to be a part of the Carolina Crown drumline. The first thing I knew I had to do was seek out lessons from someone who had experienced drum corps recently. My good friend and mentor, Kuntal Shah, taught me what he had learned when he marched snare drum for the Madison Scouts in 2010. I can confidently say that taking lessons gave me the tools that were necessary to help me prepare for my audition. Let's work together to meet your goals!
